Kigezi Association is a registered Community Based Organisation (CBO) operating in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District, Uganda. We exist to promote a strong culture of cooperation and saving among our members, and to uphold accountability, inclusiveness and good governance in everything we do.

To mobilise and manage member resources transparently and productively; to promote financial discipline, solidarity and economic growth among members; and to uphold accountability, inclusiveness and good governance in all Association affairs.
Certified by the Directorate of Community Based Services, Wakiso District Local Government, as a Community Based Organisation authorised to carry out its approved policy of activities as per its Constitution.
What We Do
In line with our registered Constitution, Kigezi Association works to:
Promote and maintain a robust and strong cooperation and saving culture among members and the general public.
Increase the capacity of the Association and the general public to fight poverty, and promote poverty eradication practices.
Design, implement and support district and lower-government socio-economic programs, organisations and individuals in the collective pursuit of ridding our society of poverty.
Carry out studies and research on practices that encourage poverty eradication, and promote recommendations for reforms in the public and private sector.
Increase public awareness about the perils of poverty on the delivery of public services and goods.
Monitor the use of Association resources by both the registered Association members and the public, to ensure value for money.
